I agree that Sarah strikes a great balance between strong and vulnerable which is no easy task. I have always loved this film for its action sequences and the acting from all was great. Schwarzenegger is perfect in it as well. I do understand the criticisms and well, it seems to me that any sci-fi film struggles with continuity according to its own established rules. I usually get lost in the action and the acting and forget about many details like the ones you mentioned. You are accurate for sure, and you did a great job pointing them out. But I guess people like the way the movie makes them feel and tend to channel the more technical aspects out. I think that's just the way storytelling goes. I remember in the first Rocky movie where Rocky's eye swells shut and then he has his corner cut his eye so he can see. Oh my God, no trainer in the world would ever do this and it simply does not work at all. They just wanted to raise the stakes and show Rocky's determination, and it worked at the time I guess, and I do forgive it since it's just great in so many other ways. But still. I understand your frustration. Hehe. Great review, Gary. Thank you for sharing.
Thank you for your kind words. Despite everything I wrote, I still consider the Terminator sequel a great film! I liked and forgave the Rocky scene as well. Thanks again!
