Over the last few years, I’ve been basically using this newsletter as a sort of hub for the various projects I’ve been working on or connected with. I’ve been writing for Mind Matters News for what will be four years in November, and the podcast finished it’s first year this last month.
However, I wanted to take a moment to announce that on February 3rd, I intend to self publish my first novel in a series, so there is going to be a shift in the content on this newsletter. I haven’t exactly decided how often I’m going to do this, but I would like to either once a week or once a month, depending on the response, talk about updates on the series. I currently have the first six books completed in the series, and intend to publish the six books throughout the next year. I don’t know if I want to create additional content for the series on this platform. I’m not sure the readers of this newsletter would care for unique material connected to this series because my reviews have been for science fiction content, and the series is Urban Fantasy. Any feedback regarding what you would like to see from this newsletter in the future would be very appreciated.
So, come December expect to see one of the podcasts drop, either once a month or once a week. I would also ask for your patience for the next month or two, as I have hit a wall with my time. I usually try to schedule articles a month ahead of time, but things have gotten so wild with the preparation for this series, that I’ve been unable to maintain that pace. I expect to get a few posts done before this goes out, but I don’t know how many, so, don’t be surprised if I miss a week or two, hopefully no more than that, over the next two months. But I’m not saying this will happen. I’m just trying to give a heads up in case of a worst case scenario.
Lastly, when the book does show up in February, if any of you do enjoy Urban Fantasy, books like The Dresden Files, I would appreciate it if you would read and review the the books for Amazon. I am willing to send you a copy of the first couple books free, since you’re already sighed up for the newsletter. Just leave a message on this email, and I will send you an attachment of the book.
I hope this change is a welcome one for the readers of this newsletter. Please feel free to give me any thoughts you feel are relevant.
Thanks,
Gary
